AI Job Hunter

Privacy notice

Effective 18 October 2026. Last updated 18 October 2026.

Summary

AI Job Hunter is a free tool that analyses a job posting you paste and shows the keywords and requirements an AI screening system is likely to look for. Your first ten analyses need no account. After that you create a free account (email and password, or Google); analyses stay free, and your account keeps your job descriptions and analyses so you can return to them. We do not ask for your CV.

The job description text is processed by third-party AI service providers to create the analysis. We do not sell your information and we do not use it for advertising. You can contact us at any time at [email protected].

1. Who we are

AI Job Hunter (www.aijobhunter.com) is operated by AI JOB HUNTER PTE. LTD., a company registered in Singapore (“we”, “us”). We are responsible for the personal information described in this notice. Contact: [email protected]. Our Data Protection Officer for the purposes of Singapore’s Personal Data Protection Act 2012 can be reached at the same address.

2. Information we collect

Job description text. The tool is designed for job postings, which are normally public information. If a posting you paste contains personal details (for example a recruiter’s contact details), those details are processed in the same way as the rest of the text.

Without an account. When you first use the tool, our sign-in provider gives your browser an anonymous identifier (no name or email). It lets us show you your own analyses and count your ten free analyses.

Your account. Your email address and password (which our sign-in provider stores only in hashed form — we never see it), or, if you sign in with Google, your email address, name and profile picture as Google shares them. When you create an account, the analyses you made in the same browser move into it. We record the date and the version of these terms and this notice that you accepted.

Technical information. Like any website, our servers and providers receive your IP address, browser and device type, the page requested and the time. Our bot-protection service (Cloudflare Turnstile) also evaluates signals from your browser to tell people and automated programs apart.

Usage statistics. When you arrive on the site, and when you run an analysis, sign up, log in or download a document, we record that action with: your country and region (worked out by Cloudflare from your IP address — we do not store the IP address), whether you use a phone or a computer, how you found the site (the referring website and any campaign tags in the link you followed) and your anonymous or account identifier. We do not use cookies or other storage on your device for this. We look at these statistics only in aggregate, to understand how the service is used and to plan and measure our own marketing.

Your messages. If you email us, we receive your email address and what you write.

We do not ask for, and the tool does not need, your CV or any sensitive information.

3. How we use it

We use this information to provide the analysis you request, to create, secure and run your account, including sending the emails needed for it (confirming your address, resetting your password, and a notice before an unused account is deleted), to operate, secure and monitor the service, to prevent abuse and control costs, to fix errors, to answer your messages, to understand in aggregate how the service is used and how people find it (to improve it and plan our marketing), and to meet legal obligations. We do not send marketing emails. Where the law asks for a legal basis (for example in the EU and UK), we rely on taking the steps you request when you submit a job description or create an account, and on our legitimate interests in running a secure, reliable service and in understanding how it is used.

4. How the analysis works

When you submit a job description, its text is sent to third-party AI service providers that run large language models. The models read the posting and identify knockout requirements, required and preferred keywords, duties and other conditions, with the evidence from the text. The result is general information about the posting. It does not assess you, it is not used to make any decision about you, and AI output can be wrong or incomplete. We do not use your text to train AI models.

If someone submits the same job description — also when it is copied from another website with different headings or layout — we may reuse the analysis already made for it, in full or in part, instead of analysing it again. Only the analysis of the job posting is reused, never anything about you, your account or your other analyses, and we do not show anyone when or by whom it was first analysed. These reusable analyses of job postings are kept for up to 12 months.

5. Who we share it with

We share information only with service providers that process it on our behalf to run the service:

We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect the rights and safety of our users or the service. We do not sell or rent personal information, and we do not share it for third-party advertising.

6. International transfers

We are based in Singapore. Our providers store and process information in the United States and in other countries where they operate, which may be outside your own country. Where the law requires it, we rely on the providers’ contractual commitments (such as data processing agreements and standard contractual clauses) to protect information transferred abroad.

7. How long we keep it

Without an account, job descriptions and analyses are deleted automatically after 60 days without any visit or analysis from that browser. In an account, they are kept until you delete them or your account; an account with no sign-in or use for 2 years is deleted together with its contents, after we email you 30 days before. Analyses made before accounts existed (before 18 October 2026) are deleted 90 days after submission, as promised at the time. We keep records of usage and cost (such as the number of analyses and the processing cost) that do not contain the job description text. Technical logs are kept by our providers for their set periods, typically up to 90 days. Usage statistics are kept for 13 months. Emails you send us are kept for up to 2 years. Copies held by providers for security or backup are removed on their own schedules.

8. Security

We use encrypted connections, access controls with multi-factor authentication on our administrator accounts, and providers with their own security programmes. No system is perfectly secure; if a breach affects your information, we will notify you and the authorities as the law requires.

9. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to ask whether we hold personal information about you, to access or correct it, to delete it, to restrict or object to its use, to receive a copy, and to withdraw any consent you gave. Email [email protected]. We do not charge for requests, we will acknowledge them within 7 days and respond within 30 days, and we may ask for information to verify the request. You can delete your account and everything in it by emailing [email protected] from the account’s address. Without an account, the support reference shown with an analysis, or the text you pasted, helps us find it. You can also complain to your local data protection authority.

10. Cookies and similar technologies

We use only technologies needed to run and secure the service: cookies that keep you signed in (or keep your anonymous session, so you can see your own analyses), a short-lived cookie that protects the “Continue with Google” step, and Cloudflare Turnstile, which helps protect the site against bots and abuse. These do not require consent. To count visits we use Cloudflare Web Analytics, which works without cookies or other storage on your device; our own usage statistics (section 2) do not use them either. We do not use advertising cookies. If we introduce analytics, advertising or other non-essential cookies or similar technologies, we will update this notice before we do so and, where the law requires it (for example in the EU and UK), ask for your consent first and let you change your choice at any time. We will honour opt-out preference signals such as Global Privacy Control where the law requires. We do not currently respond to “Do Not Track” browser signals, because we do not currently track users across other websites; if that changes we will update this section.

11. Children

The service is intended for people aged 18 and over. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect information from them. If you believe a child has provided information to us, contact us and we will delete it.

12. Changes to this notice

We will update this notice when our practices change and show the new effective date at the top. If we make a material change, we will make it prominent on the site before it takes effect, and we will not use information already collected in a materially different way without the notice or consent the law requires.

13. Additional information for your region

European Economic Area and United Kingdom. The legal bases are described in section 3. You can object at any time to processing based on our legitimate interests. You have the right to lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority where you live or work, or in the UK with the Information Commissioner’s Office. We have not appointed a data protection officer under Article 37 GDPR, as one is not required for our processing.

United States. We do not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioural advertising, and we do not use it for profiling that produces legal or similarly significant effects. Residents of states with privacy laws can exercise the rights in section 9; if we decline a request you may appeal by replying to our decision, and we will respond within the time the law requires.

Australia. Information may be disclosed to providers in the United States and other countries where they operate. You can complain to us first; if you are not satisfied, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (oaic.gov.au).

Singapore. You may withdraw consent and request access to or correction of your personal data by contacting our Data Protection Officer at [email protected]. You may also contact the Personal Data Protection Commission (pdpc.gov.sg).
